Andrew Bogut's run of injuries does not seem to stop. The Golden State Warriors star was forced to leave the game against the Oklahoma State Thunder in the first quarter after copping a hit to the face. Will that affect Golden State's NBA Odds for their coming games? Absolutely not.
Bogut left the game after scoring just two points in the first quarter, with what has been stated as an "orbital contusion" after absorbing an elbow hit to the face from Kendrick Perkins. Later reports and scans revealed there was no damage to his eye or face.
The injury adds to the list for the 2005 No. 1 draft pick. Bogut has spent significant time outside the court with a dislocated right elbow, broken hand, wrist sprain, sprained ankle, fractured ankle and a broken rib. Until further notice, Bogut remains questionable for theroad game against the Miami Heat.
With stars Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant still sidelined due to injuries, Reggie Jackson top scored for the injury-riddled Thunder with 22 points. Despite having Bogut out, the Warriors were able to down Oklahoma City 91-86 with Marreese Speights leading the way with 28 points. With the win over the Thunder, the Warriors achieved their best-ever start to an NBA season. The road win lifted Golden State's win-loss record to 10-2, the best start in their 69-year franchise history.
